Barbara Gruenke - Bookkeeper

I currently work at several non-profits, including St Luke UMC, Habitat for Humanity Lakeside, Unity Church of Sheboygan and Sheboygan County Historical Society and Museum. I also run my own Tax services.

Prior to joining St Luke UMC, I worked for 16 years as the Accountant for Kee’s Inc in Elkhart Lake, WI. After leaving Kee's Inc I worked 16 years as Direct Manager for The Sheboygan Press.  I received my degree in the Art of Accounting from LTC.  I live in Plymouth with my two cats Kevin and Dylan. I enjoy playing Bingo and spending time with friends and my friend's dog Rudy.

Stephani Aldag – Marketing & Events Manager

I began working at Above & Beyond Children’s Museum as a Customer Service Specialist in my senior year of high school. I would have never predicted that a few years later I’d be the Marketing & Events Manager, allowing me to utilize my talents, make a difference in the community, and work with some of the most amazing people I have ever met. Outside of work, I love spending my time in nature and enjoying the little things in life.

Graham McAllister – Exhibit Designer & Facility Manager

I’m originally from Scarborough on the east coast of northern England. My working background is in art, printing, model design and construction, and web design. I’m able to bring several of my skills to play in the eclectic experience that is working at Above & Beyond.

Ann Benkowski – Program Assistant

I’ve been working here for 3 years. The staff here is very helpful and kind. I enjoy working outside during the summer programs. In my free time I like to go up North camping with my family and dog Ginger.

Andrew Olenick – Customer Service Specialist

My name is Drew Olenick I’m 21 years old.  I have been a Customer Service Specialist here at Above & Beyond for since September of 2016, and it has by far been one of the greatest experiences of my entire life!  My coworkers and superiors are like family to me.  I love seeing the kids’ happy faces as they come roaring through the front door anxious and ready to play.  Three months ago had you asked me what I wanted to do with my life I would have answered “no clue”, but this job changed all that now I definitely know what it is I want to do.  Some of my hobbies and interests include bike riding, psychology, listening to music, and playing cards.  I can’t explain how grateful I am for the opportunity to join this team.  The museum is a wonderful facility, and I wouldn’t trade working here or with these people for anything!! Always remember nothing’s impossible and dream it, believe it, and achieve it!!

Keegen Kuehne – Customer Service Specialist

Hello, my name is Keegen and I started working at Above and Beyond in September 2019. I’m currently a senior at Sheboygan Falls High School and I am graduating in May 2020. I am planning to attend UW Green Bay - Sheboygan this fall to study Political Science and History. My goal is to teach high school social studies and/or continue my studies to be an environmental lawyer.

In my free time I like to do anything music related from playing my trumpet, making music, listening to it, and going to concerts. I also enjoy photography, digital art, drawing, painting, hiking, riding my bike, and reading. I am an avid Star Wars and Marvel fan as well.

Working at the museum has been amazing and we have a really great, supportive, and friendly team in means of reaching our goals. My favorite exhibit is the glow room because it’s the artsyist- is that a word? My favorite part about my job is seeing kids’ faces light up when they walk through the front door.

Klohie Kuehne – Customer Service/ Program Specialist

Hello! I am 21 years young and a sophomore at UW Green Bay- Sheboygan. At school I am studying broad field social studies and english while specializing in ESL (English as a Second Language) and look forward to becoming a classroom teacher after graduating! When I’m not at Above & Beyond I enjoy camping, going to concerts, reading in my hammock and riding bikes.

Working at the Museum has been exciting, educational and I’ve made so many new friends. All my coworkers and superiors are so kind and helpful when it comes to helping me reach my goals. We have a really great team here and I’m so grateful to be a part of it. One of my favorite parts about my job is meeting families and talking to the kiddos about their favorite exhibit!

Lily Yang – Customer Service Specialist

As a mother of two in my cultural background, it was a complicated decision to decide to work while schooling, but I am above and beyond in disbelief and glad that Above and Beyond Children Museum accommodates their staff as they understand that family is priceless. Being able to take part as a Customer Service Specialist and learn from the business department is extremely satisfying and exciting. I look forward to the next few months of Above and Beyond staff taking care of me.

As I work here, I am also a student at Lakeshore Technical College. I am hoping to graduate by Winter of 2019. My major is Business Management and I really look forward to pulling in some experience here as I learn and grow with my peers.

Outside from work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. We enjoy bowling, destressing outings, and taking our kids out to play with their friends.
